Dental services include teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing and digital dental radiographs. If necessary, we have advanced training to perform specialized procedures such as tooth extractions and oral surgery.
What to Expect During a Dental Procedure
- All of our patients are placed under general anesthesia and are carefully monitored using the latest monitoring equipment.
- Our dental suite is equipped with the most advanced digital dental x-ray system. We are able to obtain fast, high definition x-rays that minimize both the animal’s exposure to radiation and time spent under anesthesia.
- At the conclusion of your pet’s dental procedure, we apply an innovative product called OraVet. It acts as a barrier sealant that helps prevent plaque and tartar-forming bacteria from attaching to the teeth.
- Most of our dental patients go home the same day. Your pet’s doctor will meet with you when you pick up your pet to explain home-care instructions and answer any questions.
